Care and handling

A gilded cow is a delicate decorative object and should be displayed away from direct sunlight and humidity. It is recommended to handle a gilded cow using white jeweller’s gloves or a soft cloth, in order to protect the gold from moisture and oxidation. Dusting should always be done dry, using a soft cloth.
