Our history
Ma Vache à Dorer is the story of a meeting between Silke and Carina, two passionate individuals brought together by their love for Swiss craftsmanship and their desire to create something unique. Inspired by her creative surroundings, Silke had the idea of gilding traditional Swiss wooden toys. In 2020, she brought this idea to life by applying it to the iconic wooden cows. Ma Vache à Dorer took shape with the arrival of Carina in 2023. Together, they gave life to the project, allowing it to grow through their shared expertise.
