Certificate of authenticity

Each gilded wooden cow is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.

This document provides specific details about the piece, such as:

• Signature: The artisan’s signature along the left rear leg, with the hoof painted black.

  
  

• Serial number: A unique number ensuring traceability.

  
  

• Name: The first letter of the name is determined by the year, following the same tradition used for real cows.

  
  

This certificate attests to the authenticity and uniqueness of our cows.We source wooden toys from the second-hand market and transform them into works of art using the ancestral technique of water gilding. This concept is an original creation by gilder and framer Silke Droessaert. The certificate guarantees that the object is exactly what it claims to be, which is particularly important for high-value items.

We are committed to ensuring the authenticity and durability of our creations through meticulous craftsmanship and a constant attention to quality.

Each cow is fitted with new accessories (bell, ears, horns and leather collar) and is carefully packaged in a cardboard box lined with felt.
